District 8 Council

The District 8 (D8) Council is affiliated with the District 8 branches of the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). The D8 Council promotes fellowship and cooperation among the District 8 branches and their members. The D8 Council also helps to coordinate branch efforts in planning, promoting and funding District 8 meetings and disseminates information to the District 8 branches.

 

Through the District 8 Trustee, the council provides branch level feedback to our national AALAS organization. 

 

The D8 Council conducts at least two business meetings annually. Participation on the D8 Council is a great way to network, learn about other volunteer opportunities, and get involved with our larger AALAS community.
