The mission of the Sacramento Valley branch of AALAS is to facilitate and promote the humane care and use of all laboratory animals through an extensive network of professional communication, technical training, career development, and educational opportunities.

We serve as a group of people whose deep-rooted connection to laboratory animal science allows us to provide a forum to share information and ideas in order to focus our collective energies on improvements in animal care. In doing so, we believe that the intellectual satisfaction of those who share our charge will multiply and manifest itself in an ardent dedication to the care and use of laboratory animals in our region.
